I went to a show at Going Local back in January and had a chance to see Heffer Wolfe's first show. After their set, a couple of my friends and I were like, "who where those guys! and man that ruled!" I'm stoked to see that they have been playing more shows around the area and have released their first release, "Rats! Rats! Rats!" The album's sound is built around short funk songs in the vein of the Minutemen but with their own modern approaches to the style. If you dig short funky songs you can dance to but also rock out to, I recommend you give this album a listen
